Daily Uniform
Students wear a neat, comfortable uniform each day:
- Solid-color polo or collared shirt in school-approved colors (for example: navy, light blue, or white).
- Khaki or navy pants, shorts, skorts, or skirts of appropriate length.
- Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes suitable for active learning and recess, with sneakers strongly recommended.
- Solid socks or tights in neutral or school-approved colors.
Logos and graphics on shirts, pants, and outerwear should be minimal and not distracting. Clothing must be in good repair, without rips, tears, or inappropriate images or messages.
Outerwear
Because classrooms can be cool, light layers are allowed:- Solid-color sweaters, cardigans, or fleece jackets in school-approved colors may be worn indoors.
- Hoods should remain down inside the building for safety and visibility.
- Large graphics or full-front/back logos that are distracting or inappropriate are not allowed.
Heavier coats and jackets may be worn outdoors but should be removed once students are in the classroom.
Spirit Days and Special Events
On designated spirit days, students may dress in Instill Academy T-shirts or school colors while still following basic dress expectations.
- Clothing must be modest, comfortable, and school-appropriate.
- Shoes should still be closed-toe and suitable for active learning.
- Any special dress-up themes or exceptions will be communicated to families in advance.
PE and Active Learning
Because students move, play, and learn actively throughout the day:- Shoes should have a secure fit and non-slip soles.
- Sandals, flip-flops, slides, high heels, and backless shoes are not allowed for safety reasons.
- Jewelry and accessories should be simple and should not interfere with movement or learning.

Families may purchase uniform items from any store that carries the required colors and styles. Many families find it easiest to shop at common local or online retailers, and optional logo items may be made available directly through Instill Academy in the future.
